Because Paddle acts as Merchant of Record, refunds are handled directly through Paddle. This page informs you about your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded (for software downloads: from the day on which you were given access to the download).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract:

You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, although it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Early expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital content
For a contract for the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires early if the trader has begun performance of the contract after you have:
- expressly consented to the trader beginning performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and
- confirmed your awareness that, by giving your consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract begins (§ 356 (5) BGB).
This consent and confirmation is given during the purchase process via Paddle by ticking a corresponding checkbox. If you tick this box and complete the purchase, your right of withdrawal expires once the licence key is made available.
3. Refunds (Refund Policy)
Refunds are processed through Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd.) as Merchant of Record. Paddle acts as the seller towards you.
If you would like to request a refund:
- Contact hello@kobel.app with your order ID and the subject "Withdrawal" or "Refund".
- Alternatively, you can contact Paddle directly at paddle.com.
In the case of a valid withdrawal (within the deadline and without prior expiry of the right of withdrawal), the purchase price will be refunded in full. The refund is made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction.
4. Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must repay all payments we have received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal. For this repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.
